Dr. Shilo Annis is a native Mainer. He’s taken an interesting and circuitous path to become a dentist. Upon his graduation from Windham High School, he enlisted in the Army. During his time in the military, he was stationed in many locations around the world and spent several years as an Apache Helicopter Pilot. Eventually, Shilo went on to become a federal agent flying for Customs and Border Protection in San Diego.
While Dr. Annis will always value the time he spent in the Army, he found it important to look toward his home state to see how he could best be of service to his fellow Mainers. He returned to Maine to study at the University of Southern Maine. From there, he attended the University of New England and proudly graduated in the inaugural class of the College of Dental Medicine. Shilo is a compassionate and caring dentist in Buxton, Maine who envisions maintaining local practices where he can treat and serve local people for many years to come. In his free time, Dr. Annis enjoys a variety of activities and looks forward to spending time with his wife and two daughters. “Yes, I enjoy making beautiful smiles. Moreover, I really enjoy helping someone that is anxious at the dentist become more relaxed and providing solutions for their concerns.”
